A demon living in a nuclear reactor appears in the first issue of IDW Publishing's 2015 comic series Godzilla in Hell.
Name
The creature is never named in the comic. "Nuclear reactor demon" is used here as a descriptive phrase.
Design
The demon resembles a mass of tumorous organs with a number of entrail-like tendrils that it uses to attack. It has a large number of pure black eyes, 21 of them at minimum.
History
- Godzilla in Hell #1 (2015)
Godzilla in Hell #1
As Godzilla was wandering a desolate city in Hell, he came upon a nuclear power plant. As Godzilla peered into one of the cooling towers a demon burst out of it and attacked him. However, Godzilla repeatedly stomped the demon, killing it.
Trivia
- Given that the demon hides inside of a nuclear power plant, and nuclear energy is one of Godzilla's common food sources, it is possibly intended to represent the deadly sin of Gluttony.
