The King is an otherwise-unnamed member of the Kong species, and the de facto Kong of the 2017 BOOM! Studios crossover comic series Kong on the Planet of the Apes. He lived on Skull Island in the 40th century, and had the distinction of being the "endling", or last living member of his species. He was created by series writer Ryan Ferrier and artist Carlos Magno.
