Trivia
- Although various wars have taken place in Lebanon and with the participation of the Lebanese Army, the 'Battle of Lebanon' mentioned in GODZILLA: Monster Apocalypse does not specify any particular battle in real history. Whether the Battle of Lebanon mentioned in the book is a fictional event or based in real history is not confirmed.
- It is possible that Simon is referring to the Israeli intervention in the 1982 Lebanese Civil War, where 800 tanks were deployed by the Israeli Defense Forces into Southern Lebanon. However, the Battle of Kursk in 1943 is also mentioned in the same account, which saw a clash of a far larger number of tanks (an estimated 6,000 in total).
