Jordan, officially the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is a country in West Asia. It borders the present-day countries of Israel, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. In kaiju media, its most prominent appearance has been in the novels GODZILLA: Monster Apocalypse and GODZILLA: Project Mechagodzilla.

In the year 2042, Abdul-Majid Haji Shaikh Akbarak - a refugee from Karak, Jordan - described how Iceland was transformed into a refugee camp for people fleeing from all over the world. It was not a very comfortable place for individuals like him, who were from warmer countries.

In 2045, after their first battle at Suez, Egypt, Gigan successfully lured Godzilla out to Amman, Jordan. Although Gigan had lost the battles miserably, he had accomplished his strategy - he had brought Godzilla out of the war-stricken Africa.
