Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters #8
|Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters|
"ALL OUT MONSTER BATTLE ROYALE! Things just went from 'bad as they can be' to 'Armageddon' as mankind becomes nothing more than insects under the trampling feet of giant monsters hellbent on ripping each other's heads off. And is this three-headed dragon the savior of the human race or simply another gargantuan beast handing out destruction? Either way, Godzilla is up for a fight."
In Alabama Alice and Steve are in a brawl with a group of bikers, Steve is fighting off the gang while Alice plays pretend on one of the motorcycles. The brawl ends with Steve and Alice keeping their water and Alice getting a pair of goggles as they carry on. Meanwhile, in D.C. Godzilla and King Ghidorah start to fight, blasting each other with their signature attacks. Another brawl starts and ends just as quickly with a bandit getting his nose broken by Steven. They decide to rest and Steve is about to get Alice a snack, before his bit by a snake, worrying the little girl about Steve and the whereabouts of the snake. Alice then wraps up Steve's bite and instructs her about how some snake bites cause hallucinating and hands her the kaiju detection device, and says the should keep moving, but not before Alice makes Steve promise that he won't die. As the battle between Godzilla and Ghidorah reigns on, Alice and Steve are confronted with a battle of their own from a pack of wolves. These two battles end with Steve and Godzilla triumphing over their opponents, though in Steve's case he didn't kill the wolves by himself as Mechagodzilla had blasted the pack with its lasers before Steve passed out. When he awakes the next day, he and Alice enter the machine and Steve reactivates the mecha.
