Bangladesh, officially the People's Democratic Republic of Bangladesh (Bangla: গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ Gonoprojatontri Banladesh) and historically known simply as Bengal, is a country located in South Asia, bordering India and Myanmar. From 1947 to 1971, it was referred to as East Pakistan. It has been featured in kaiju and tokusatsu media in limited capacity.

During the 1971 Bangladesh War between India and Pakistan, Takeshi Yamato traveled through the battlefield on the Eastern Front in search of the mysterious mystic Deva Datta.

Trivia

Since the historical region of Bengal is split into present-day Bangladesh and the Indian state of West Bengal, various mentions of Bengal have referred to the latter as well.
- In Godzilla Singular Point, the fictional city of Upala where the SHIVA.consortium housed Salunga is set in Indian Bengal.
- Mei Kamino lands in Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal, before heading to Upala in Godzilla Singular Point.
