Kong: The Great War is an upcoming comic series written by Alex Cox with art by Tommasso Bianchi, and published by Dynamite Entertainment. It is a part of DeVito ArtWorks' King Kong of Skull Island property and is set to release monthly beginning March 15, 2023.

Information

Kong: The Great War, sometimes referred to as "Kong Great War" in pre-release material,[1] is the first project to come out of a deal struck between DeVito and Dynamite Entertainment that was announced in August of 2021 to introduce new games and comics using DeVito's Kong license.[2]

Description

"The World at War! While men of all nations fight on foreign shores, an Imperial German U-Boat is lost at sea! The crew now faces terror beyond imagination! Monsters from creation's dawn! Gruesome, blood-stained death from above and below! Impossible beasts, reigning by fear and violence in the South Pacific! And looming over all, the gargantuan ape-god that knows no master! These brave men have faced death before, but now they must contend with...Kong!"[3]
