Description
Plot
Cedric begins his third vlog by reminding his viewers that the Shobijin are not fairies - if they were, they would have wings.
After a wild flight, the Shobijin land in the Tokyo school from their vision. They begin to psychically examine the students in the hopes of finding one with hope for the future with little success, but are heartened by the appearance of twins, Ann and Steph, who they call over. At lunch, Emily and Anderson share with Cedric their ideas for an essay Mr. Murray assigned them about what the future could look like. Emily envisions cities covered in vegetation and electric cars powered by solar-panel roads, while Anderson favors domed cities that could endure any environment and even kaiju attacks. Cedric, on the other hand, can only think of touchable holograms. Ann and Steph interrupt them as the Shobijin look into their hearts.
Meanwhile, Nomura reveals the existence of Biollante to Linival's board of directors, whose effectiveness as a Godzilla deterrent will allow them to resurrect the E-131 energy program. Ann and Steph try to explain the Shobijin's mission to Emily, Anderson, and Cedric, but only give them the impression that they have rich fantasy lives. Just then, the Godzilla begins streaming the monster's second attack on Linival Island. Biollante ambushes him with tendrils as soon as he comes ashore. The regenerating vines quickly overpower him. Biollante picks him up, spits two globs of acid onto his face, and throws him back into the sea. The stream concludes with Nomura boasting about Biollante's supremacy. Anderson hails it as a victory for science, while Emily sees the fight as a primal battle for territory. She tries to solicit the twins' opinions, but finds they have vanished. Cedric concludes his vlog by foreshadowing a rematch between Godzilla and Biollante.
