"The King Once More" is the twenty-third issue of Marvel's Godzilla, King of the Monsters. It was released in June of 1979.
Plot
Godzilla was back to present day Earth at full size, and he immediately went on a rampage through New York City. With the Godzilla Squad and the Fantastic Four not enough to stop the monster's rampage, the Human Torch enlists the aid of the Avengers.
With the added might of Earth's mightiest heroes they manage to get Godzilla on the defensive, fighting Godzilla into New York Harbor. However, this is far from defeating him, as he rises from the water more furious than ever before.
