*The awakening of Ghidorah and role is similar to his role in [[Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack]]. His design is as well shown to be based off of his [[King Ghidorah/GMK]], which is the design seen in the film.
*The awakening and role of Ghidorah is similar to his awakening and role in ''[[Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack]]''. His design as well is shown to be based off of [[King Ghidorah (Millennium)]], which is the design seen in the film.
*Battra's cocoon and transformation into his imago form is very similar to Mothra's transformation in [[Mothra (film)|her debut film]]. With it being in France instead and the Effiel Tower in place of the Tokyo Tower. On a note to more Mothra and Battra comparisons, Minette and Mallory are very much opposites to the [[Shobijin]].

Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters #7 is an IDW comic book. It was released on September 28, 2011.

Description

So much for good old-fashioned American ingenuity! After the historic fail of Detroit's latest 'hybrid,' the world searches for something-anything-else to pin its hopes on. Hey, speaking of hybrid...What do you get when you cross a dragon with a couple of other dragons? Uh-huh. Hail to the King, baby, in Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters #7.

Plot

In the Asian Mountains, a monk reads over ancient scrolls saying that whoever sacrifices themselves for mankind shall become one with the "dragon king". He notices a snake slithering across the page, saying "It is awakening", and goes to ancient temple ingrained within the mountains. He then performs a ritual bringing to life the dragon king, King Ghidorah, at the cost of his own life. Meanwhile, Steve and Allie have stopped for a rest, with Allie playing tea while Steve laments on how she'll grow up in the new world made by these kaiju. A supplies plane flies by, capturing Steve's attention and instructs Allie to stay put while he deals with the group waiting for the plane to drop supplies. A fight breaks out between the survivors with Steve and Allie making their way out of the area with a plentiful bounty. Meanwhile, in Paris, Minette and Mallory eat cheese while lamenting the lack of "subjects" for them to order around; as well as the currently cocooned Battra not yet awakening. However, Rodan arrives and begins causing destruction to the city, much to Minette and Mallory's protests. However, Battra awakes and is ordered by the twins to kill Rodan; but it ends with the twins discovering they could control both kaiju. Noticing a newspaper detailing Godzilla's attack, Minette and Mallory decide to fly to America with Battra and Rodan to control the King of the Monsters. Meanwhile, Allie experiences a nightmare and is calmed down by Steve saying they have to move because their kaiju detection device started beeping. To calm Allie down, Steve gives her chocolate and the two move along, with Angurius in the distance not noticing the two. The issue concludes with Godzilla being confronted in Washington, D.C. by King Ghidorah.
