"The Coming!" is the first issue of Marvel's Godzilla. It was released in August of 1977.
Plot
Godzilla rises from Alaskan waters and begins to destroy the Alaskan Pipeline. The destruction brings the attention of S.H.I.E.L.D., who assigns a "Godzilla Squad" consisting of Timothy "Dum Dum" Dugan, Gabriel Jones, and Jimmy Woo. Nick Fury brings in resident Godzilla expert Yuriko Takiguchi, his assistant Tamara Hashioka, and his grandson Robert Takiguchi to help.
A S.H.I.E.L.D. battalion tries to stop Godzilla with various weapons, but it all fails. After Godzilla destroys everything S.H.I.E.L.D. throws at him, he leaves unscathed.
