The third official graphic novel tie-in for the MonsterVerse, it will be written by Arvid Nelson, the writer of Skull Island: The Birth of Kong, and illustrated by Drew Johnson. The graphic novel is currently scheduled to be 112 pages in length.

- With the release of this graphic novel, every entry in the MonsterVerse so far will have received an official tie-in graphic novel. Godzilla previously received a prequel graphic novel titled Godzilla: Awakening, while Kong: Skull Island was accompanied by a four-issue miniseries titled Skull Island: The Birth of Kong.
