The gargantuas, Sanda and Gaira fight hopelessly against these freaks, as Steven Woods and the Shobijin evacuate the island; elsewhere Battra is being attacked and having his DNA stolen by a Trilopod, to which Minnette and Mallory use their psychic abilites to decapitate the thieving monster. He orders for them to land and dispatch a hive in an unknown location. Meanwhile in L.A., Godzilla and SpaceGodzilla battle trilopods with SpaceGodzilla's and Megaguirus' characteristics; this leads the two monsters needing to team up against the parasites, much to their hatred of one another. As this occurs, Lucy and the others fly over the Gulf of Mexico and get a call from Woods. He informs them of the island's takeover, and the scuffle in L.A.; He tells them that they are going to meet at Professor Ando's lab and informs Lucy that she needs to help locate an ancient kaiju that could help before it's too late: the one known as King Caesar.
