Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters #2 is the second issue of Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters. It was released on April 27, 2011.

Description

The world is in panic as Godzilla reduces Tokyo to rubble. No one knows where the giant lizard has come from and even the most extreme military counter-measures prove useless. As the people of Japan struggle to survive Godzilla's wrath, the world's governments start thinking outside the box. Unfortunately, Godzilla may not be the only monster-sized threat the world faces...

Plot

As Godzilla continues his rampage in Japan, a boy name Mikhail steals a strange "meteorite" in Moscow. Animals begin dying in mass numbers around the world, as Anguirus appears in Sabinas, Mexico. Meanwhile, the "meteorite" hatches into Rodan, who rapidly grows, eats the boy's pets, and escapes. In response to Anguirus, a wall is built on the Texas/Mexico border, which is destroyed by him. In Japan, the fisherman who lost his children to Godzilla straps explosives to himself and detonates on Godzilla's snout, to little effect.
