- After King Caesar is revealed from the side of the cliff in Okinawa, Woods jokingly tells Lucy to stand somewhere else and sing a song, a reference to how King Caesar was awakened in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla.
- Godzilla only appears in one panel in this entire issue.
- This issue marks the first full appearance of Kamacuras in Godzilla: Rulers of Earth. Kamacuras previously appeared as a painting on the Infant Island cave mural in issue #9.
