Israel, officially known as the State of Israel, is a country located in the Middle East that is prominently featured in the fifth and final issue of IDW Publishing's 2016 comic series Godzilla: Rage Across Time.

Godzilla: Rage Across Time
In 2016, Benjamin Thompson and Nikki Kasumi worked at a dig site in northern Israel when they discovered the remains of two Homo erectus and a Velociraptor, an impossibility given the time and location.
136 million years earlier, a Tyrannosaurus rex pursued a ceratopsian along a beach, only for Ebirah to snatch both of them up as he battled Gezora. Rodan stole the two dinosaurs away, but was shot down by Godzilla and sent careening into Kumonga's webs as the former brawled with Anguirus, Baragon, and Varan while Mothra and Battra fought overhead. Suddenly, Keizer Ghidorah descended to Earth, vanguarded by a meteor shower. Quickly defeating many of the local kaiju, Keizer Ghidorah transformed into Monster X to fight Godzilla and Anguirus head-on. After throwing Anguirus into a lava pool, Monster X briefly gained the upper hand over Godzilla before being pinned down and nearly killed. However, Godzilla was distracted by the arrival of an armada of Xilien UFOs, giving Monster X the opportunity to flip Godzilla into the lava and rendezvous with the fleet.
A UFO landed, and from it an Xilien released a male and female Homo erectus and gave them an axe and a fruit each before telling them the aliens would return to harvest the planet. As the UFOs departed, a Velociraptor ran near the pair before all three were suddenly burned to the bone from Godzilla bursting from the molten ground behind them.

Thousands of years ago, Mothra split the Red Sea for Moses, allowing the Israelites to flee Egypt and eventually establish themselves in what would become modern-day Israel.
