Ayura (アユラ, Ayura) is a 2025 Japanese tokusatsu kaiju short film directed by Akihiro Shibata, co-directed and written by Wataru Sano, with visual effects directed by Takuya Uenishi. Produced by Shibata's company Tokai Seisaku, it stars Kotone Yamaguchi, Yuna Takahashi, Manami Hasegawa, Keita Arai, and Shichifuku Katsura. The film is centered around the titular kaiju Ayura, a giant ayu (or sweetfish) who attacks the Japanese city of Gifu, but is confronted by the cormorant-like defense robot Mechau.
