Godzilla x Kong: The Hunted is a graphic novel prequel to Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire written by Brian Buccellato and illustrated by Dario Formisani, Drew Johnson, and Mohammad "Zid" Yazid. A hardcover edition was crowdfunded through Kickstarter, with backers receiving a digital copy early on February 28, 2024.[2] Legendary Comics will publish a retail paperback on March 26, 2024.[1]

Development
Godzilla x Kong: The Hunted was announced during Legendary Comics' panel at San Diego Comic-Con International[4] on July 22, 2023.[5] Legendary Comics announced a Kickstarter campaign for hardcover editions of it and another graphic novel, Monsterverse Declassified, on October 4, 2023, with a goal of $79,000.[3] The Kickstarter had already met its goal by October 8.[6]
