Godzilla vs. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, called Godzilla vs. Saban's Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on the comic's covers, is a Godzilla and Power Rangers crossover comic miniseries published by IDW Comics and BOOM! Studios. It is a five-issue collaboration between Godzilla: Cataclysm author Cullen Bunn, artist Freddie E. Williams II, and colorist Andrew Dalhouse.[1] The first issue was released on March 23, 2022, and the final issue was released on September 14. In the comic, the evil sorceress Rita Repulsa uses the Multiversal Focus to travel to a reality where her nemeses, the Power Rangers, do not exist, allowing her to conquer it without opposition. However, she arrives in a universe where the Xilien invaders are repeatedly thwarted in their attempts to conquer Earth by the monster Godzilla. When the Power Rangers follow Rita to this reality, Rita and the Xiliens combine their monster armies in an attempt to destroy both of their enemies.
IDW released the series as a trade paperback on November 8, 2022. In addition to all five issues, the paperback includes all of their alternate covers and Freddie E. Williams II's character studies for the comic in a gallery at the end. A sequel five-issue miniseries, Godzilla vs. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers II, began publication in April 2024.
