Differences from the film

  • Orga and Dagahra are absent from the flashbacks to past kaiju attacks, with Baragon and Biollante included instead.
  • Rodan and Anguirus are explicitly said to have been killed by Operation Hedorah. In the movie, only the text "Operation Hedorah successfully..." can be seen over news footage of the monsters' carcasses.
  • Background character Marco Ghione is introduced with a name box, which also establishes him to be a corporal and combat engineering troop.
  • A United Earth soldier is killed by a giant Servum, which prepares to do the same to Rilu-elu Belu-be but is felled by blasts from a Multipodal Battery and Landing Ship.
