Trivia
- This comic was originally set to be released on Febuary 27, 2024, then March 12.[4][7]
- All of the cave paintings Kong observes in this comic originally appeared in the 2022 Godzilla vs. Kong collaboration with Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard, including that of Shimo, whose identity had not yet been revealed.
- The Titan Hunter resembles the Jaegers from Legendary's Pacific Rim franchise, although it requires only a single pilot instead of two or three.
- The comic erroneously utilizes the Queen MUTO's design to depict the female MUTO during a flashback to 2014.
- The Warbat killed by the Titan Hunter has webbing on its tail, a trait not seen in previous depictions of the species.
- The size of the Sker Buffalo carcass is inconsistent; it initially appears to tower over the Titan Hunter (which is itself roughly the height of Kong), but is later loaded onto a transport vehicle which fits in Kong's hand.
- The four Leafwings mounted in Raymond Martin's trophy room appeared to have been copied from a page in Skull Island: The Birth of Kong #1.
