Hoshikuzu is a bipedal kaiju that will appear in the upcoming 2023 film, Hoshi 35.

Name

Hoshi (星) means star in Japanese.

Hoshikuzu's (星屑) full name translates to "Stardust".

Design

There appear to be two stages of Hoshikuzu, its juvenile stage and its adult stage, with both being plant-like. It's smaller form possesses two large, blue eyes and has a red frill with three ends. Its face also has two fang esque protrusions and no teeth. Its body is covered in green leaf-like structures and does not have any visible legs, seemingly walking and standing on four of the leaf-like structures. It has two small arms with two claws at the end of each hand and is covered in brown markings. Finally, it posses a large, rounded seed-like structure that is visibly closed and sticks out from its back.

Its larger form has the same eyes and is also covered in many of the leaf like structures, with much darker ones covering its back. Its arms and claws are much larger compared to the rest of its body, and it now has two thick, visible, trunk-like legs. It now possesses jagged teeth, and retains its outer fang-like structures on its snout. Its frill and coloration is much more pronounced, and it has a spike protruding from both its stomach and back, with its back spike being far larger and sharper. The back spike is now opened from its previously closed state, and a rounded shape is able to been seen within. It has a thick tail that abruptly narrows mid-way through the length.

Pipijuras has a design that appears to mimic that of crustaceans, with stalk eyes, a shell, and claws. The alien has three spherical, compound eyes atop stalks that connect to a head with no visible mouth. Pipijuras' coloration is red down its back, feet, and arms, which end in four claws that can close and open as well as extend when needed. Pipijuras also has bluish-grey coloration along its tail and front. It has white legs with red feet that posses two toes, and its tail ends in a dome-like shape.

Personality

Pipijuras seems to have a soldier-like mentality, never stopping in its mission to bring Earth to its leaders, even after being captured and mind controlled. It appears very cold and goal-focused, with it giving no reaction to things such as being smacked in the face by debris. Whether this personality is voluntary, or it has been programmed with instructions by its leaders is unknown. Being part of an organized race of beings, it is also highly intelligent, being able to pilot its ship and utilizing destroyed parts and mechanisms of MechaJURAS against its opponents. Despite this, the extraterrestrial is not completely void of feeling, with it frequently taunting its foes in victory and views all other forms of life as inferior. Pipijuras also appears to speak of itself in the tense of "We" and "Us".

Origins

First sighted in 1983, Pipijuras is an extraterrestrial invader that comes from a race of giant, technologically advanced aliens. He appears to be one of many soldiers, whose mission is to activate and harness the power of Giga Cores' energy in planets to warp them to the position of the rest of the species so that the planet may be destroyed. The purpose of this process is unknown.

Project P.P.J.U.R.A.S

After being sent to Earth (or Planet-8184) by it leaders, Pipijuras' ship enters a heavy storm and is struck by lightning, crashing the ship onto the planet, causing the pilot to be knocked unconscious. Seeing this, the G.T.D.I. seized the opportunity, capturing the alien and salvaging its ship and beacon. The G.T.D.I. fit Pipijuras with a mind control device and gave it the designation P.P.J.U.R.A.S.

Pipijuras was later deployed under control to combat the recently re-emerged Titan, Gorogong. Upon arrival at Luana Island, Gorogong immediately engaged Pipijuras once spotting it, shattering and knocking off the control device, causing the alien to stumble backwards before regaining consciousness. The two Titans then begin to attack one another, until Pipijuras comes out on top, defeating Gorogong. As Pipijuras started to dance in victory, it remembered its mission and capture, and the piece of technology it needs. Now dead-set on achieving its goal, the extraterrestrial began flying toward Area-51.

As Pipijuras entered the base, it spots the research lab, scanning it to reveal the beacon inside. The G.T.D.I. launched the invader's mechanical doppelganger, MechaJURAS. As the two engaged in battle, Pipijuras eventually managed to knock MechaJURAS into the research lab, destroying the walls and leaving the beacon exposed. As Pipijuras locks its eyes onto the beacon, MechaJURAS rolls back upright, confronting Pipijuras one final time. The mecha is destroyed upon defeat this time, its systems going critical and exploding. Once again locking its vision onto the beacon, Pipijuras remembers how it crashed, was captured, and taken control of. Before Pipijuras can a move, Thundatross suddenly comes down from the sky, engaging the alien. During their battle Pipijuras utilized different parts of MechaJURAS against Thundatross, ultimately coming out victorious, leaving Thundatross on the ground as it telekinetically took the beacon from the constraints and flew away, towards Tokyo.

As Pipijuras arrived in the Kimura District, facing the G.T.D.I.'s base, Gigaman came down from the air, kicking the invader proceeding to battle it. As Pipijuras reigns victorious, Thundatross is deployed from the air to assist Gigaman as the alien approached the head quarters. The mechanized giant is defeated yet again by the powerful extraterrestrial, allowing Pipijuras to continue its march on the building as both Gigaman and Thundatross regained their strength and began a last attempt at stopping the monster. Pipijuras ended up destroying the building, capturing the Teleporter Module and connecting it with the beacon. This caused a massive section of the city and Pipijuras to warp to the Yeti Sanctuary in Siberia, creating a massive crater in Tokyo.

As Pipijuras and the section of city teleport into the area, multiple Yetis approached the creature, before they were attacked by Pipijuras. After defeating five of these, the commotion caused the S-Class Alpha Yeti to wake from its slumber, revealing a hole to the Giga Core. The alien and the Yeti engaged in battle, before the S-Class Yeti depleted its Giga Energy and reverted to a regular form, allowing Pipijuras to enter the tunnel into the Giga Core.

As the alien is falling through the hole, it has another memory, this time about its initial deployment to Planet-8184 by its leader. Pipijuras touches down into the Giga Core, walking towards the center before facing one last resistance: Zyva. As the two engaged in one final conflict, Zyva is eventually weakened greatly. Zyva uses the Giga Core to absorb a large amount of Giga Energy before being defeated. However, as Pipijuras began to walk towards its goal, the sentinel activated the Giga Core, absorbing massive amounts of Giga Energy and transforming into its S-Class form. As the two dueled for the second time, Pipijuras eventually gained enough Giga Energy to perform its ultimate move, sucking in and killing Zyva. Pipijuras, at last free to complete its mission, connected the beacon and Teleporter Module to the Giga Core, warping the entirety of Earth right in front of the aliens' armada, yet another planet to fall to their might.

Quad-Claws

Pipijuras posses pincer-esque Quad-Claws. These have four claws that overlap each other and can be used to grab on to, stab, and slice opponents. The claws can be extended with an organic cable located in the alien's arm, and rotated like helicopter blades. The Quad Claws are also equipped with hidden cannons in the center of the claws which launch Giga Energy-infused projectiles to deadly effect. The projectiles can also be charged or shot out in bursts.

Rawa (ラワ,   Rawah) is a Dragon Titan that appears in the 2022 video game, GigaBash

Name

Rawa's name comes from a combination of a play on words of Naga, the name for dragons in Malay, an Indonesian flower market called Rawa Belong, as well as an island who's name is literally, Rawa Island. Finally, the Titan's status is hinted at if the "w" in Rawa is flipped to make Rama, a title for all king's of Thailand's history.

Description

Rawa first appeared in 2009, on Tarabak Island. For centuries, Tarabak Island was overrun with Titans, constantly battling for supremacy. When Rawa appeared, he proceeded to topple and destroy kaiju who had been there for centuries, with none of them able to stand up to the might of the Extinction Dragon. The local inhabitants, whom had been living in a constant situation of fearing for their safety, quickly saw Rawa as their god. Due to the newfound order, the humans were able to establish their civilization of Tarabak, with the exception of other civilizations who followed surviving Titans across the island.

However, in exchange for The Dragon King's protection, the inhabitants had to provide Rawa with Violet Elixir, forcing them to dig up the raw form, Giga Crystals. Rawa would burn the presenter of the elixir alive if it was made poorly and did not appease him. If he is satisfied, Rawa will allow the presenter to pick one of his previously shredded golden scales, which the tribespeople believed wearing to be a sort of symbol of loyalty to their King.

Rawa's Development

Rawa's early concept

Rawa was birthed from the team's desire to put a unique, South-Eatern mythological spin on the bipedal-reptilian Kaiju type. Original designs include a much more serpentine body structure, physical wings, the idea of floating and more. The idea of being in a constant state of flying was explored a little bit, however it was quickly found that this did not work for a playable character, with problems such as length causing difficulty that an even more traditional Naga design. When creating Rawa, several references, including a fire-breathing dragon, a nuclear blast, and MonsterVerse Godzilla's nuclear pulse, were used in both the designing and programming process. During the digital creation, Rawa's Ethereal Flame caused some difficulty, with the right solution needing to be found so that the fire did not kill the game's performance, while still retaining a what the developers described as a cool look. References used for Rawa's armor include characters from the GARO franchise while references used for Rawa's skin include a fan-made Godzilla human armor model created by BATZEMO and Arch Belial from Ultraman Zero The Movie: Super Deciding Fight! The Belial Galactic Empire.

Rawa's design is reminiscent of classic tokusatsu reptilian kaiju such as Godzilla. He also appears to heavily mimic the apperance of Phaya Naga of Thailand, Like the Naga, Rawa sports a large head with a large horn protruding from his snout, as well as golden incisors. He is covered in heavily armored scales and golden plating. The gold covers his claws, head, horn, back, and tail. He has glowing red eyes and a large maw, as well as a forked tail.

Personality

The Dragon King is fiercely aggressive, attacking anyone who comes close to his territory. Despite this, Rawa appears to not actively attack the Tarabak civilization. Rawa is described as hating dishonesty the most when he kills a man for stealing one of his golden scales. Similar to European dragons of myth, Rawa also seems to enjoy hoarding precious metals and materials, such as gold and a Giga Crystal.

S-Class Rawa faces off against Gorogong

Legend of Luana Island

As a submarine transported a Giga Crystal dangerously close to Tarabak Island, a large object was spotted on the sonar, heading straight toward the sub. Above the surface, Rawa breached with the craft crushed in his jaws. Rawa then snatched the crystal, swimming back to Tarabak Island and leaving the wreckage and crew to float in the ocean.

As Gorogong entered his lair, Rawa emerged from behind a waterfall, stopping in font of his hoard of gold and the Giga Crystal to breath a challenge Ethereal Flame into the sky. Gorogong and Rawa then engaged in battle. Rawa, now realizing he is losing, crunched the Giga Crystal between his jaws, using the energy to transform into his S-Class form. The two battled again until Gorogong absorbed enough energy to perform his own S-Class transformation, eventually coming out on top when he punched Rawa in the chest and swinging him around by his tail before Gorogong jumped into the air, smashing his fists down onto Rawa, creating a massive explosion and killing The Dragon King.

Physical capabilities

Rawa thrusts himself forward into a charge.

Rawa sports immense physical prowess, being able to maul and charge his enemies with great strength. His horn is said to be powerful enough to cut his enemies in half, with his forked tail providing similar strength.

Rawa uses his Ethereal Flame to fly.

Triphibiousness

Rawa has shown capabilities of master on land, in the water, and in the air.

Ethereal Flame

Rawa has the ability to produce a light greenish-blue Ethereal Flame which he can use to both torch opponents by breathing it and conjuring a pillar of fire from the ground. As he uses this fire, he must ventilate more flame from specialized orifices on his shoulders, forming his "wings". Rawa can utilize this ventilation as a thruster, propelling himself at great speeds and allowing flight. By focusing Giga Energy, he can cause a large explosion of fire around him, known as Decimate.

S-Class

After gathering a sufficient amount of Giga Energy, Rawa achieves peak power to grow to massive proportions, gaining great power, enhanced abilities, and the move: Decimate: Supernova. Giga Energy is gathered through dealing damage to other Titans, or gathering it from the surrounding environment. Rawa's S-Class form wreathes him in flame and causes his horn, back spines, and tail to grow further and sharper and glow a greenish-blue. His ventilation-formed wings are also larger with the flames spreading farther and higher in different directions. This form also has Rawa's golden plating cover more of his body, as well as causing a greenish-blue light to shine through the large scales on his chest.

Rawa fires his Extinction Beam.

Extinction Beam

After gaining Giga Energy spawned from a Giga Ball, Rawa gains the ability to use his Extinction Beam, a massive cone of fire that gradually thins into an unfathomably powerful, focused beam that vaporizes both enemies and cities alike in a single strike.

In his S-Class form, Rawa can use all of his remaining life energy to erupt into a massive explosion as a last resort.
