The condor is a creature that appeared in the 1969 Toho film, Latitude Zero.
Name
In its debut film, the condor was never given a name, thus only being referred to by its species name.
Design
The condor looks like a regular condor.
History
Latitude Zero
The condor was caught and kept in a containment cell by the evil scientist, Dr. Malic.[1] Eventually, the condor was brought out when Malic needed to create a monster to intercept the crew of the Alpha. It was slaughtered, and its wings were cut off, which would later be grafted to a genetically altered lion, forming the Griffon.[2]
