Ravana (ラーヴァナ,   Rāvuana) is a giant god kaiju who first appeared in the 1942 Toho film, Ramayana.

Name

Ravana's name comes from the Indian word Rāvaṇa (Sanskrit: रावण), meaning roaring.

After kidnapping a princess that was dancing with animals and a prince, Ravana returns to his palace witch later the prince and some animals raid, Ravana hides as the castle catches fire.
