Detragon (デットラゴン is a Dettoragon)Terror-Beast kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in the episode 14 of the 1973 tokusatsu kaiju series, Zone Fighter titled Rampage! The Garoga Boys Attack Force.
Design
Detragon resembles a Doberman Pinscher but also has traits of an Anubis dog. Instead of hands he has two turrets extending out of each wrist socket.
Origins
According to Toho Special Effects: All Kaiju Illustrated Encyclopedia, Detragon was born on Planet Garoga, the same homeworld as the Garogas.[2]

Abilities
Missiles
Detragon can fire red explosive missiles from his four gold-fingered tubes. When the missiles detonate they make extremely large explosions. These missiles fly at a moderate speed, but can be caught by opponents and thrown back towards Detragon, as demonstrated by Zone Fighter.
Eyesight
According to All Kaiju Kaijin (First Volume), Detragon's eyes are actually telescopes and can adjust his eyesight at will, "from a range of 10 centimeters to infinity itself."[2]
Trivia
- According to All Kaiju Kaijin (First Volume), Detragon's energy is supplied by the life force of a capsule-encased child embedded in his lower back.
