Goram (ゴラム is a Goramu)kaiju created by Toho that first appeared in episode 20 of Zone Fighter, "Fierce Fight! Can You Hear Fighter's Song?"
History
Zone Fighter
"Fierce Fight! Can You Hear Fighter's Song?"
Goram was first used by the Garogas to capture several children, including Akira Sakimori. Akira signals to Hikaru that he is nearby, after a failed attempt to capture one of the Garogas goes wrong. It is then revealed that he and the other children are contained within Goram himself! Goram arrives and forces Hikaru to transform into Zone Fighter, and the two duke it out. Zone refuses to use his Meteor Missile Might on the Terro-Beast for fear of injuring the children inside, and Goram beats Zone down, until Zone Angel arrives in Smokey to help fight the monster off. Zone tears off one of Goram's heads, and the children manage to escape. He then finally destroys Goram by using the Meteor Missile Might on it.
Abilities
Containment
Goram can contain living things within his body, with the kidnapped children being contained within his right head.
Fire breath
Goram can unleash a stream of flames from both of his mouths. These flames were shown to set fire to numerous acres of land; they also clung to Zone Fighter for a short period of time.
Pistols
Goram wields two giant pistols. Each shot acts like a cannon, causing explosions on whatever they hit and generating large plumes of dirt when striking the ground. He appears to use them in quick-draw style, with both holstered at his hips, and spins them before returning them to their holsters. One shot from a pistol was able to drop Zone Fighter in a few seconds. According to All Kaiju Kaijin (First Volume), these guns are 40-inch caliber.[3]
Direction detection
According to All Kaiju Kaijin (First Volume), Goram can detect directionality with his back spines.
Physical abilities
Goram's large hands are used to punch and throw around opponents, while his feet are used to kick opponents around as well. Goram attempted to crush Zone Fighter in his human form with his foot. Goram also picked up a large boulder and threw it at the human sized Zone Fighter after being unable to stomp him out. While Zone Fighter was trying to tire out Goram in order to save the children within Goram's right head, he resorted to jumping up and down on top of the hero.
