Shimo[2] is a reptilian Titan[1] that will appear in the upcoming 2024 Legendary Pictures film Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Its role in the film is currently unknown.
Name
Shimo (霜) is a Japanese word meaning "frost" or "gray hair." The name was first revealed on a Jada Toys Metalfigs figure at the 2023 Singapore Comic Con.[2]
Design
While marketing for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire has yet to reveal Shimo in full, merchandise and an image of it included on the box for a Playmates figure depict Shimo as a reptilian monster with some similarities to Godzilla's evolved form. A quadrupedal creature with white scales, it possesses Stegosaurus-like thagomizers on the tip of its tail and crystalline spines down its back, both of which are a blue or purple color. Its head is also adorned with crystals, creating a crown-like formation.

Abilities
Frost Bite Blast
According to the packaging for its Playmates figure, Shimo is capable of releasing an ice breath attack known as the Frost Bite Blast, which is described as being capable of freezing opponents.[1]
