Daigoro (ダイゴロウ Daigorō) is a kaiju co-created by Toho and Tsuburaya Productions that appears in the 1972 film Daigoro vs. Goliath.
Name
While Daigoro's name is officially spelled ダイゴロウ in Japanese, the end title for Daigoro vs. Goliath erroneously spells it with a chōonpu as ダイゴロー, though pronounced the same (Daigorō).
Design
Although being directly related to his mother, Daigoro looks very different. In general, he resembles a giant hippopotamus with beige-yellow skin. He has large, friendly eyes and powerful hands.
