Godzilla (ゴジラ Gojira) is a kaiju, featured in 1997-1998 tv show Godzilla Island.
Name
- See also: Godzilla#Name.
Godzilla's Japanese name, Gojira (ゴジラ), comes from a combination of the Japanese approximation of "gorilla" (ゴリラ, and kujira gorira) (クジラ), the Japanese word for "whale."
Design
The toy used to portray this Godzilla is a Bandai Godzilla Island Monster Series figure of the RadoGoji design.
Personality
Long time ago, in 20th century, Godzilla was malevolent and villainous monster, much like his 1954 and Heisei counterparts. But after many years, in 2097, he became much more benevolent and responsible for other monsters, who accept him as their leader.
