Starship Godzilla: Invasion X is an upcoming comic book series by IDW Publishing. Part of a shared universe of Godzilla comics dubbed the Kai-Sei Era, it is a direct sequel to the 2025 series Starship Godzilla and will retain that series' writer, Chris Gooch and artist, Olivor Ono. The series will follow the crew of the S.S. Mechagodzilla as they prepare for a galactic war.[1]
Development
The series was announced on March 18, 2026, when the final issue of Starship Godzilla ended with the message, "To becontinued (sic) in Starship Godzilla: Invasion X #1!".[2]
