Plot
The issue opens with Godzilla looking out over a city when the Demon Rodan appears. Godzilla fights him off and enters an icy region where the Demon Anguirus is frozen in ice. Demon Anguirus is freed and the two start to fight, but the ice cracks and Godzilla falls into an endless ocean where he encounters the Demon Varan. Demon Varan is quickly deterred by Godzilla's atomic breath, and King Ghidorah appears behind him. Ghidorah's appearance creates a whirlpool, likening the situation to the Odyssey's Scylla (a many-headed monster) and Charybdis (a whirlpool). Godzilla is sucked into the whirlpool and the issue ends.
