Zenbunga's name was revealed much later than the rest through the godzilla-sp.jp site after episode 11 of the series aired, and is not trademarked. It is derived from ''zenbu'' (全部), meaning "(the) whole (thing)" or "entire," due to possessing all of the traits of Kumonga, Kamanga, and Hanenga.

Each of the three species' binomial names follow real world taxonomic nomenclature, all being congeners of each other and Kumonga. In Latin, Kamanga's species epithet, ''falcipes'', means "sickle foot" (presumably referring to Kamanga's scythes), Hanenga's, ''alatus'', is Latin for "winged," and Zenbunga's epithet is ''ultima'', Latin for "final."

As [[Jet Jaguar]] continued to fight the Kumongas, they were joined by Kamanga, Hanenga, and finally Zenbunga. A fierce battle began, which eventually led to the warehouse exploding. Jet Jaguar's battery began to run low, causing the robot to abandon the spiders and escape on a boat with the Otaki crew and the men they rescued. The remaining arachnids' fate is unknown.
A colony of Kumonga, Kamanga, Hanenga, and Zenbunga made a nest inside a marina facility. As police appeared to back up [[Jet Jaguar]] in a fight against a group of Kumonga, a Hanenga attacked them. After Jet Jagaur's human companions made a break for the boats while he defended them, he engaged in a duel with a Kamanga while Hanenga pursued the humans. Kamanga (カマンガ,   Kamanga), Hanenga (ハネンガ,   Hanenga), and Zenbunga (ゼンブンガ,   Zenbunga) are insectoid kaiju who appear alongside Kumonga in episode 9 of the 2021 anime Godzilla series Godzilla Singular Point.

Name

Kamanga's, Hanenga's, and Zenbunga's Japanese names are derived from that of Kumonga, with which they share the same final two kana.

Kamanga's name likely comes from the Japanese word kama (鎌), meaning "sickle," and Hanenga's from hane (羽 or 翅), meaning "wing." Both names were trademarked by Toho on October 6, 2020.[1][2]

Zenbunga's name was revealed much later than the rest through the godzilla-sp.jp site after episode 11 of the series aired, and is not trademarked. It is derived from zenbu (全部), meaning "whole [thing]" or "entire," due to possessing all of the traits of Kumonga, Kamanga, and Hanenga.

Each of the three species' binomial names follow real world taxonomic nomenclature, all being congeners of each other and Kumonga. In Latin, Kamanga's species epithet, falcipes, means "sickle foot" (presumably referring to Kamanga's scythes); Hanenga's, alatus, is Latin for "winged"; and Zenbunga's epithet is ultima, Latin for "final."

Design

Kamanga and Hanenga appear nearly identical to Kumonga, who itself takes after the Showa kaiju Megalon. Hanenga are identical to Kumonga and are distinguished only by their insect-like wings. Kamanga take a few notable traits from Gigan. They have scythe-like forelimbs which bear resemblance to Gigan's sickles, adorned with golden scales and spikes that resemble Gigan's buzzsaw on its femur, as well as fins resembling Gigan's back sails on their upper arms and a row of frontward curving spikes on their back similar to Gigan's head spikes. Rather than a Megalon horn-shaped stinger, Kamanga instead have upward turned stingers possibly meant to represent Gigan's head spikes as well. Zenbunga combines the traits of its nestmates, possessing the wings and stinger of the Hanenga, but with the forelimbs of Kamanga.

Origins

It is implied that these insects emerged from a beached Manda corpse alongside Kumonga.

History

Reiwa era

Godzilla Singular Point

"Erumpent"

A colony of Kumonga, Kamanga, Hanenga, and Zenbunga made a nest inside a marina facility. As police appeared to back up Jet Jaguar in a fight against a group of Kumonga, a Hanenga attacked them. After Jet Jagaur's human companions made a break for the boats while he defended them, he engaged in a duel with a Kamanga while Hanenga pursued the humans. Sparks from Jet Jaguar's Spear of Anguirus clashing with the Kamanga's blades ignited gasoline spilled in the battle, setting the nest ablaze. Jet Jaguar battled his way to the roof as Hanenga and Zebunga joined the battle, and the robot was forced to drop his battery and and make a break for the boat, leaving the burning colony behind.

Abilities

Jet Jaguar dueling a Kamanga with his Spear of Anguirus

Physical abilities

Kamanga and Zenbunga have giant scythe-like hands that they use to both stab opponents and block attacks. They are also capable of leaping at opponents.

Flight

Hanenga and Zenbunga are capable of flight.

Reanimation

Kamanga, Hanenga, and Zenbunga all can reanimate themselves in the form of a blue gelatinous mass in their body as long as the gills on their eyes remain intact, just like Kumonga.[3] This allows them to fight even after being cut in half.
