Emi is one of the protagonists in IDW Publishing's 2025 comic series Mothra: Queen of the Monsters. Thought long dead by her sister Mira after Mothra's battle with Antra, she had secretly been whisked away by the Shobijin to safety and trained by them over the years. Together with her sister, she helped bring about the arrival of a new Mothra.
