Sara Yuhara

Sara Yuhara (湯原 沙羅 Yuhara Sara) is the daughter of Tokumitsu Yuhara in the 2002 Godzilla film, Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla. She is a minor protagonist, but a driving force for other characters in the film.
History
Millennium era
Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla
Shortly before her first appearance on screen, her mother dies when expecting an second child, leaving her and her father alone. She wants her father to be apart of the Kiryu project, which he refused, claiming that his job was to take care of her. when he later accepts the job, Sara seems to take on working the lunch counter at the JXSDF building as an after-school occupation. Since her mother's demise, Sara became very sensitive about life and death. Sara owns and often carries with her, a pot of sleeping grass. She believes the grass to have some connection to her mother. She develops a friendship with Akane Yashiro throughout the film. She becomes distraught when she learns that Kiryu is being controlled by the JXSDF, as she believes that he is a living entity with a right to life, just like Godzilla.
