Kotaro Ushirone is an antagonist in the 2010 tokusatsu drama series Daimajin Kanon, produced by Kadokawa, and is played by Enoku Shimegi. He is the guitarist for his band 0°C, the ex-boyfriend of series heroine Kanon Misaki, and the current host of the Ipadada created by the mistreatment of Kento Saeki.

History

"Distant Song"

Ushirone was trying to enjoy a meal in a local restaurant when a news broadcast announced the execution of the murderer Kento Saeki, who had killed eight people including his parents in 2002. The owner expressed disgust at the man's crimes, but Kotaro was ambivalent. Later, while crossing the street, a woman's grocery bag broke and spilled all over the road and Kotaro walked past her without helping, indirectly contributing to a traffic disruption. This act caught the attention of the grim spirit of Saeki, who approached him while he was sleeping and suggested that they had a kindred rage and suggested they go out killing together.
