Novusaurus

Novusaurus is a fictional species of lizard which appears in the book The World of Kong.
Design
Novusauruses are small yellow lizards with dark green stripes on parts of their bodies. They have large yellow eyes and wings on their backs. The end of their tails are split at the end, similar to a snake's tongue. They also have skin between their legs and tail, similar to sugar gliders. They have long legs and a protruding spike-like structure underneath their heads.

Novusaruses use the flaps of skin between their legs and tail to glide.
