Robosquito

The Robosquitoes are a group of African Mosquito-like robot kaiju that first appeared in episode 12 of the 2016 animated kaiju show, Kong: King of the Apes titled Robosquitoes.
History

The Robosquitoes were conceptualized by Dr. Leo Remy as a vehicle for vaccination of wild animals to protect them from disease, but after his death, they were left as plans on his computer. The plans were later taken by Remy's son Dr. Richard Remy, who took the designs and used them to deliver mind control chips to the people of San Francisco in order to fill them with an unquenchable need to destroy King Kong. He was successful and infected the city, but Dr. Amy Quon synthesized an antidote from real African Mosquitoes. She then filled a Robosquito with the antidote, and released it on the city, where it reversed Richard's efforts.
