Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong 2
issue 1
After the Justice League arrive at Mister Terrific's base, they are stunned by what they see and eventually witness a giant portal. As they prepare to enter it, Batman says he needs to get something from his Batwing first.
When they land on Skull Island, Flash exclaims that he can't believe the mecha was inside the Batwing. Batman replies that it's mostly the Batwing, and that thanks to Mister Terrific's quick patch, they are able to communicate. Just as Batman finishes talking, Superman and Supergirl are ambushed by a flock of giant Psychovultures. Superman and Supergirl dispatch two of them with their heat vision, but are stunned by a blast of electricity from a third. The Flash and Wonder Woman drive off the rest. The Kryptonians wonder how the creature hit them so hard. After driving off the Psychovultures, Kong appears, agitated, climbing a mountain. Kong beats its chest, catching the attention of the Justice League. As the ape leaps off the mountain, it roars at the Justice League, who stand in battle formation.
As the Justice League prepare to fight Kong, Batman warns them that the ape is trying to show dominance, with Superman advising to bow down to the ape. As they bow down, Kong aggressively roars down and leaps to attack a Titanized Killer Croc. As Kong pounds Killer Croc onto the ground, the Justice Leagues run to not intervene the battle. But before they can do something, Superman and Supergirl intervene to stop. As Supergirl reached Kong, the ape smacks her with one hand, sending Supergirl far away to keep fighting Killer Croc. Kong only stops fighting after Superman and Supergirl pushes it away from Killer Croc, but it was to late. Superman says Killer Croc has no has no heartbeat, meaning it was killed by Kong. As he returns to the normal size, Wonder Woman exclaims that who made Killer Croc titanized wasn't permanent. Flash mentions how that works similar to Giganta or Atom-Smasher, but isn't made from the same methodology. Batman add that they never meant to be Titan sized. As Batman reads Killer Croc's dead body with the Batwing Mecha, he discovers radiation inside the body, meaning he was irradiated by something. Flash affirms its biological radiation, asking in progress if its wave signals are the same as Godzilla. Batman answers by affirming its a dead-on match. As Batman finishes speaking, Superman warns Lex Luthor is here by hearing his heartbeat.
