The sauce monsters are giant sauce monsters who appeared in the 2025 IDW Publishing anthology comic Godzilla vs. America: Kansas City, for the segments "Local Flavor" and "Lost in the Sauce".
Name
The sauce monsters get their name from what they are, monsters made of sauce.
Design
The sauce monsters are red in color, with multiple yellow eyes and green pupils. They generally take a humanoid shape, though some have horns.
Origins
As explained by (robot character's name) Godzilla's mere presence caused a chemical reaction that resulted in stockpiles of sauce coming to life.

"Local Flavor"
The sauce monsters were first seen fighting with Godzilla in Kansas City, Missouri. Roscoe seeing this called apon the members of The Society to save the city and their samll businesses. When the members have meet Roscoe, reveals that when Godzilla came to Kansas, his aura caused a chemical reaction that brought the sauce monsters to life.
